Over the years, I have taken many photographs to capture life in a documentary style. Candid and street photography are like a jazz musician having a jam session. Spontaneous things happen, catching the essence of what life is like at a given moment in time. The best of these images become iconic time capsules of eras. The photos reflect how we dress, look, feel, and interact with one another. Capturing the moment and its emotion is ultimately an art form that is unique to photography. This is one of the great gifts that great photographs can give. Ultimately, these images of special moments become valued treasures for those who come after us.
